    3 Ways To Use AirVest Body Armor Ventilation

     

    1- Under your shirt:

    This way, the only fabric layer that can get wet against the body is your T-shirt. That is the most effective way to stay dry in extreme heat conditions.

    2- Over your shirt:

    Easy to put on and to take off with the detachable elastic bands on the sides.

    3- Attached to the body armor:

    Provided with each AirVest, our especially designed screwback pins and velcro attachments will keep it firmly in place without damaging your body armor's cover. The thin 1mm diameter pins glide through the cover’s fabric and the tip is then protected by a screw button.

    The hooks and loops shoulder straps can also be linked to mating attachments found on most covers. It works as well on a plate carrier. This way, AirVest becomes part of your body armor and you won’t even have to think about it.

Thanks to our universal screw pins and Velcro fasteners, AIrVest can be matched with any kind of soft body armor or plate carrier.  With only 1 mm diameter, the tip of the pins will glide through the fabric without causing any damage to your cover. Once screwed together, both ends of the pins are protected and hold tightly the hooks patch matching the loops on the AirVest. Extra fasteners are available for custom installation.

    AirVest's fully adjustable design allows for easy sizing with only 3 sizes to choose from. Our sizing chart shows the exact dimensions of the front panel so you can compare with your bulletproof vest. Since AirVest can be attached to the body armor, it's better to pick one that is  slightly shorter than your vest. AirVest doesn't have to cover entirely the body armor's surface to efficiently evacuate heat and sweat. A slightly larger one won’t do any bad either, it might just show a bit on the sides.
